The Technology & Media team’s primary focus is on managing the organization and protection of sensitive information representing both our mentors and mentees. Our work involves determining the appropriate databases to host information and keeping systems up-to-date. Our department also leads work on the website, collaborating closely with those involved in marketing. Finally, the tech department also manages the official email address and Minecraft server.

Current Projects:

The tech department is focused on outlining and improving the website. Creating new pages and modernizing older pages are a priority. Specific pages to be designed include an about us page, a volunteer landing page, live map tracking of Project Hope Chapters, and pages for hosting educational material. We are further in the process of creating an official email list/ newsletter.

For Volunteers:

The tech department is looking forward to working with anybody interested in web administration, web design, general graphic design, IT, moderation, and or marketing. Experience in WordPress would be helpful, but it is not a requirement.
