Andrew’s Bio

Andrew lives in Virginia, working as a director and an occasional actor for a theater. He received a liver transplant at UVA, when he was 17. Since then, he has gotten connected with other patients and gotten into pediatric advocacy. It was through those connections that he joined Project Hope. Recently he has begun to work towards improvements in rural healthcare by running for public office.

Using his degree in IT, he wants to give back to the transplant community that gave him so much. He currently acts as the technical lead for Project Hope and wants to participate in mentoring.

He has a pet border collie named Junebug who always keeps him busy. When not wrangling his mischievous dog or on the stage, Andrew spends his time learning how to cook.
