The Research Department at Project Hope oversees the design, conceptualization, and execution of all research-related efforts across the organization. Our work helps ensure that the programs we offer are impactful, equitable, and grounded in both lived experience and evidence-based best practices. We prioritize collaborative and informed research design that uplifts the voices of pediatric and young adult transplant recipients.
Our team is responsible for developing studies, designing surveys, writing grant applications, preparing IRB protocols, and analyzing data related to program effectiveness and participant outcomes. We collaborate closely with the Technology & Media team to distribute surveys safely and accessibly, and partner with outside researchers to build a strong foundation for academic rigor and future publication. Above all, we believe research should be accessible, empowering, and actionable
Current Projects:
- Designing QI and participant feedback surveys.
- Choosing and implementing validated tools.
- Collaborating with outside researchers on longitudinal peer mentoring studies.
